A case with a lock and a lock with a key / Crucified in a carnival of dreams…
As I watch them slowly fall
I dance upon them colorful leaves
The sound warms my heart
A child has been resurrected from a deep sleep
Reborn in hearts of everlasting fairytales
Perpetual imaginations
In minds of those
Who are not frighten by the loss of reality
Small flickering droops
Falling around me as dust
And I wonder if they know
Where they are going to fall
Today with the sun they go
As the wind slowly blows
Around me, I follow
Their beauty touches me as I grow
Little elves and fairies
Flying around threes
Diligent wings,
So busy they hover
All full with various colors
They float and they cheer
Small little tunes of heartfelt romance
A wistful illusion so utterly loved
An aroma so deep and sweet
I breathe in all of their vividness
As I travel amongst those flowers
Leaving all sorts of fragrant
A scent that lingers
Within a drowsy state of mind
You float on the air so thin
With an illusion so sweet
Not to be broken
Not be touched
Only to be trusted and wanted
For it’s survival among disbelieving elders
You sleep within the warm sheets
They provide you with fairy dust
Upon your nose
A small shiver around your body
A joyful rise of hairs
Cheerful they sing beside your bed
Flying around you, over you
Dreams so sweet you taste them before you sleep
Your hair so dark they brush
Busy little wings they buzz you to sleep
With a calm cheerful lullaby
They sing you a small story with a goodnight
As you fall into a deep wistful thought
You wonder where you are to be dropped
On a petal of a rose in a fairy’s colorful costume
Perhaps eating sweet strawberries on a small picnic
Elders envy the minds of children.
Treats and treats so sweet they seem.
Lost childhoods on wings of reality
Lost glossy dreams found in vivid minds
Children envy the minds of elders.
Starring in wonder upon them for hours
Wanting, yearning for the things they know
Tricks and tricks they make you sleep…
